The game played with the Slider controllers is a tournament-style sequence of casual(ish) mini-games, designed to engage the players with a minimal learning phase (learning by doing and imitation) and high diversity in game mechanics.
Overall, there will be at least 12 mini-games, fused together by a scoring system that keeps track of scores across games. I will also implement an adaptive game mode, where the game will be adjusted such that the worst player has a slight advantage through in-game perks and possibly nudging of the motorized slider.
The video below has been recorded with only one player (me!) and the sliders detached, so it doesn't really show the final interactions well. The video shows the dinosaur astronaut game, the pong game and dynamically adding players to it, the dodging game, the tank shooting game, and the tron/snake game.
