A combination of Alan Hazelden's BRICK[bricksmash]SMASH recursive Arcanoid-style game and my Slider-box controllers. Both the game and the controller have been carefully adapted to work with each other.
Apologies for the limited documentation on this project, it was created as a collaboration 6 months ago, and not enough photos were taken while we were experimenting with it.
In BRICK[bricksmash]SMASH, you're trying to destroy all bricks by hitting them with a ball that you need to keep on screen with a paddle. The twist is, that each brick also contains tiny bricks and a tiny paddle, and a ball gets spawned in that instance of the game when an outside ball hits this brick. All paddles are controlled simultaneously by the player.
There is a playable version online here: http://www.draknek.org/games/BRICKbricksmashSMASH/
The motorized controllers mimic these secondary paddles, but the player can also take over and control each one individually. A large slider controls the main paddle on the bottom of the screen. The plan is to extend the size of that one slider to span the whole with of the playing field, about 1m across.
